Melba Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. frozen raspberries and juice, defrosted
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Mix and cook over low heat until clear.
    Strain through a fine sieve and cool.
    The addition of 1/2 cup currant jelly gives a sparkle to its color.
    Serve over vanilla or peach ice cream or canned or fresh stewed peaches.
    Excellent served over fresh fruit salad.
