Horseradish Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. small cucumbers
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Soak cucumbers overnight in cold water. Pack in jars with a stick of horseradish in the center.
    After the sugar, salt and vinegar have been brought to a boil, pour over cucumbers and seal.
