Cranberry Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef arm pot roast
    2 tsp. salt
    4 whole cloves
    1/2 c. water
    6 medium carrots
    1/2 c. cranberry sauce (whole berry)
    2 Tbsp. cooking fat, if needed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 stick cinnamon
    3 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
    6 small onions
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Brown meat in own fat (trimmed from meat) or in cooking fat, if needed, in large frying pan.
    Pour off drippings.
    Sprinkle salt and pepper over meat.
    Add cloves and cinnamon.
