Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bunches broccoli, chopped
    1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
    1 medium onion, chopped (red onion optional)
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. white vinegar
Preparation
    Mix together mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar.
    Mix together first four ingredients.
    Combine with mayonnaise mixture. Refrigerate overnight.
