Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 tsp. soda
    1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. coconut
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix sugar, eggs and fruit cocktail, including juice, together. Add flour, salt and soda.
    Pour into 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Mix coconut and brown sugar together.
    Sprinkle over top of cake. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
