Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. chicken
    1 onion
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 can tomatoes
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    2 green peppers, cut up
    1 can mushrooms
    1/2 c. diced carrots
Preparation
    Clean chicken and cut into serving pieces.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Brown onion in olive oil and add chicken.
    Brown lightly on both sides.
    Add tomatoes, carrots, celery, green peppers and mushrooms.
    Cook until chicken and vegetables are tender.
