Savory Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. jumbo shrimp, peeled (leaving tails on)
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine, softened
    1 Tbsp. scallions, chopped
    1 tsp. minced garlic (more to taste)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
Preparation
    Slit peeled shrimp down center to butterfly leaving tails on. Remove veins.
    Place butter in a bowl; mix in rest of ingredients to blend completely.
    Put shrimp on a shallow broiling pan.
    Place a dab of butter mixture on each shrimp.
    Broil about 5 minutes. Makes about 6 servings.
