Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. rolled oats
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Cream shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
    Add oats and mix well.
    Add flour, salt, soda and cinnamon.
    Pour into greased 9
    x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
