Little Applesauce Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. applesauce
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. sugar, mixed with 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Beat in applesauce.
    Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to butter mixture.
    Stir just enough to moisten.
    Spoon into 36 greased tea-size (about 1 3/4-inch diameter) muffin cups.
    Bake in preheated 425\u00b0 oven about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    While muffins are warm, dip tops and sides into melted butter and then cinnamon sugar.
    Serve warm.
    Makes 3 dozen.
