Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 tsp. oil
    1/2 onion
    1/2 green pepper
    1 stalk celery
    2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
    2 1/2 cans pork, chopped or diced
Preparation
    Saute rice in oil until lightly browned.
    Chop onion, green pepper and celery; add to rice and saute over low heat 5 minutes until tender.
    Add tomatoes and pork and cook over low heat about 5 minutes.
    Can also use beef, Spam or hamburg.
    Serves 6.
