Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag caramels
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 stick oleo, softened
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Add 1/2 cup milk to the cake mix and 1 stick softened oleo. Bake 1/2 of the cake batter 20 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Melt the caramels with 1/2 cup milk.
    Pour on top of cake mix, then spread the bag of chocolate chips on top of caramel. Spread pecans over that.
    Pour the remaining cake batter over the top.
    Bake 20 minutes longer.
