Custard Filled Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large eggs
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk (not skim)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter an 8-inch square pan or baking dish about 2-inches deep.
    Put buttered dish or pan in oven and let it get hot while mixing batter.
    Put eggs in bowl and add melted butter.
    Beat until well blended.
    Add sugar, salt, milk and vinegar; beat well.
    Sift into bowl the flour, cornmeal, baking powder and baking soda.
    Add to egg mixture.
    Mix just until batter is smooth and no lumps appear.
    Pour batter into heated dish, then pour cream into the center of batter; don't stir!.
    Bake 1 hour until lightly browned.
