Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Karo syrup
    2 c. raw shelled peanuts
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Start cooking syrup and peanuts on low heat.
    Keep syrup bubbling low; add all other ingredients, except soda.
    Cook until syrup is honey colored (about 15 minutes).
    STIR OFTEN.
    Take off of heat and stir baking soda in real good.
    Have a buttered cookie sheet already greased.
    Pour the candy on sheet and spread out level on sheet.
    Let cool for about 1 hour.
    It should come out of pan easy in solid pieces.
    Take a hard object and break as desired.
    Keep in refrigerator.
