Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1 c. black coffee
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour milk or 1/2 c. sweet milk with 1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Preparation

Heat chocolate or cocoa, butter and black coffee together in medium to large saucepan.
Remove from fire.
Dump in sugar and stir until smooth.
Add flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Add sour milk or sweet milk with vinegar added and vanilla.
Stir in eggs, one at a time, until thoroughly mixed.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 28 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool 5 to 10 minutes before removing from pans.
Frost as desired.
Makes three 8-inch or two 9-inch layers or 1 large sheet cake.
