Baked Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 qt. popped corn
1 c. butter
2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. light or dark syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Set oven at 250\u00b0.
Spray large shallow roasting pan with vegetable cooking spray.
Spread popped corn evenly in pan.
In heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
In melted butter, stir in sugar, syrup and salt; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil 5 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat; stir in soda and vanilla.
Pour over corn; stir with a wooden spoon.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely.
Break apart into clusters.
Store in airtight containers.
Makes about 6 quarts.
