Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    7 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt shortening in pan.
    Remove from heat.
    Add brown sugar; mix.
    Add eggs and vanilla; mix.
    Add flour, baking powder, salt and chips; mix.
    Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
