English Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. orange jello
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding
    pound cake or ladyfingers
    1 large can mandarin oranges
    1 small carton whipping cream
    1/2 c. dry sherry
Preparation
    Arrange cake on bottom of pan or bowl.
    Strain oranges; place 1/2 on bottom of cake and pour sherry over.
    Prepare jello, let cool and pour sherry over cake and oranges.
    Put in refrigerator to set.
    Make pudding and pour over cake and jello mixture for 1 hour.
    Whip cream and spread over top of pudding.
    Sprinkle coconut over top and decorate with orange slices.
    Serve same day. Serves 8 to 10.
