Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix (Pillsbury pudding included type)
    4 eggs
    1 stick butter, melted
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix one slightly beaten egg with dry cake mix and melted butter to a moist dough consistency.
    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Press mixture evenly in pan.
    Soften cream cheese and beat with electric mixer with remaining eggs and vanilla until creamy.
    Beat in powdered sugar gradually; beat until smooth (this takes several minutes).
    Pour over crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    The cheese mixture sinks into center and leaves a firmer crust at edges.
    Cut into squares to serve.
    Great sprinkled with powdered sugar, pecans and/or strawberries.
