Busy Day Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean beef, cut into large cubes
    6 carrots, sliced in large pieces
    1 c. celery, sliced in large pieces
    3 onions, diced
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    salt to taste
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes with juice
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in Dutch oven or baking dish.
    Cover and cook in a 250\u00b0 oven for at least 5 hours.
    Three large potatoes may be cut up and added during the last hour or so of cooking, depending on the kind of potatoes used (new or old).
