Angel Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    Mix together molasses, sugar and eggs.
    Add remaining ingredients and beat for 2 minutes.
    Pour into 9 x 12-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
