Fabulous Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. Pet milk
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips or 1 c. peanut butter chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients in heavy 2-quart saucepan.
Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbling all over top).
Boil and stir 5 minutes more; take off heat. Stir in until completely melted the chocolate chips or peanut butter chips.
Stir in vanilla and chopped nuts.
Spread in buttered 8-inch pan.
Cool and cut into 30 pieces.
