Strawberry Sorbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. fresh or frozen strawberries, sliced
    2 Tbsp. orange juice
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    fresh mint sprigs for garnish
Preparation
    Combine boiling water and sugar in a large bowl, stirring until sugar dissolves; let cool.
    Stir in strawberries and next 2 ingredients.
    Press mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Freeze until almost firm.
    Spoon mixture into a mixing bowl.
    Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
    Return mixture to pan and freeze until firm.
    To serve, let stand at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Garnish, if desired.
    Yields 4 cups.
