Rice Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    5 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. cooked rice
    raisins
    butter
Preparation
    Heat milk slightly.
    Add to beaten eggs along with salt and sugar.
    Pour into casserole.
    Add rice and raisins.
    Place dish in pan of water.
    Dot pudding with water.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 oven about 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
