Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 peck green tomatoes
    1/2 doz. green peppers
    1/2 doz. red peppers
    8 to 12 onions
    1 1/2 lb. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 qt. water
    1/2 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Grind tomatoes, peppers and onions.
    Add rest of ingredients. Boil 20 minutes, seal while hot in sterilized jars.
    Makes 10 pints.
