Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    2 1/2 to 3 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour with soda; add to butter mixture alternately with sour cream and vanilla.
    Blend until smooth.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
