Chocolate Pastry Twists - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) pkg. pie crust mix or sticks
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. margarine or soft butter
    1/4 c. chocolate shots (sprinkles)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Prepare pastry for two crust pie as directed on package.
    Stir in sugar.
    Roll into rectangle, 12 x 10-inch.
    Spread with softened margarine.
    Sprinkle with chocolate shots.
    Cut pastry lengthwise with sharp knife into 20 (1/2-inch) strips. Cut each crosswise into 3 (4-inch) strips. Twist each strip several times. Place 1/2-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Press ends onto sheet.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Remove immediately from cookie sheet.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Yields 60 twists.
