One-Two-Three-Four Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar and add the eggs.
    Mix with sifted flour and baking powder and add alternately with the milk.
    Flavor as desired.
    Bake as a loaf or layer cake.
    Layers: 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Loaves:
    350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
