Chocolate Covered Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake, baked and cooled
    1 large can pears, drained
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/4 c. hot water
    1/4 c. butter
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 can whipped topping
Preparation
    Slice
    each
    pear
    half
    into pieces; arrange on top of cake. Combine
    corn
    syrup, hot water and butter in saucepan. Heat
    to boiling;
    remove from heat.
    Stir in chocolate chips until\twell blended.
    Cool.
    Cover cake with warm glaze.
    Let glaze
    set before
    decorating with whipped topping.
    Makes 12 servings.
