Daffodil Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. cornstarch
dash of salt
dash of nutmeg
1 c. water
2 beaten egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and nutmeg.
Gradually stir in water.
Cook and stir over low heat until thick and bubbly.
Stir a little hot mixture into beaten egg yolks; return to hot mixture. Cook and stir 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Add butter, lemon peel and lemon juice.
Blend.
