Good Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 Tbsp. sweet milk
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick margarine
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with glass dipped in sugar.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven.
