Cornbread - cooking recipe

1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 c. milk
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs with milk and butter.
Add dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
Bake in prepared pan 20 minutes.
