Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2 c. powdered sugar
Chopped pecans
3 sliced bananas
Chopped maraschino cherries
1/2 c. soft oleo
5 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
1 qt. Cool Whip
2 eggs or 8 oz. cream cheese
Chocolate syrup
Preparation

Mix crumbs and 5 tbsp. butter. Press into large cake pan. Chill for 2 hours. Mix sugar, vanilla, eggs or cream cheese and oleo. Beat for 5 minutes. Place on top of crust, chill 1 hour. Layer banana slices and pineapple. Spread Cool Whip over pineapple. Decorate with cherries, pecans and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Refrigerate. Best if sets for a few hours.
