Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 baked 9-inch crust
1 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipping cream, whipped
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Slice half of the berries and add 1/2 cup sugar; set aside. Reserve 1/2 cup whole berries for garnish.
Mash the rest of the berries in saucepan. Combine cornstarch, water, lemon juice and salt. Add to mashed berries and cook until clear.
Cool. Add sliced berries and turn into pie crust. Chill until set.
Top with cream and garnish with whole strawberries.
