Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples, peeled and diced
    1/2 c. raisins in 1/4 c. hot water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. coconut flakes
Preparation
    Be sure apples are thinly diced or shredded.
    Mix apples and raisins; add sugar.
    Mix.
    Add eggs, one at a time, stirring after each.
    Add oil, nuts and coconut.
    In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt and soda.
    Add flour mixture into batter.
    Stir well.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
