Union Mills Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head cabbage
2 c. sugar
1 c. celery
1/2 c. vinegar
1 small green or red pepper
1 small onion
pinch of celery seed
pinch of mustard seed
Preparation

Mix chopped pepper, onion and celery.
Let stand while cutting cabbage.
Add pinch of celery seed, pinch of mustard seed, sugar and salt to vinegar and mix well.
Mix all ingredients.
Must stand to season overnight in refrigerator.
Stir again before serving.
It makes its own brine.
