Beef Tongue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 fresh beef or pork tongue (3 to 3 1/2 lb.)
4 c. boiling water
2 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
Preparation

Cover with cold water for 30 minutes. Remove all membranes. Cover with water and cook about 10 minutes.
Drain and put in cold water.
When cold, drain and brown in hot fat.
