Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 well beaten egg
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. melted shortening
1 c. fresh or thawed and well drained blueberries
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients into bowl; make well in center.
Combine egg, milk and oil.
Add all at once to the dry ingredients.
Stir quickly just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Add blueberries gently.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 about 25 minutes.
Makes 12.
