Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (1/2 lb. butter)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients and chill the dough.
    After it is chilled, make balls the size of walnuts and roll them in the sugar and cinnamon.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
