Candied Sweet Dill Strips(Mildred Gregory) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    4 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    3/4 tsp. turmeric
    3/4 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Wash and cut cucumber.
    Pour boiling water over and cover. Let stand 4 hours.
    Drain and pack in jars with fresh dill in bottom of jars.
    Add boiling solution of 3 3/4 cups vinegar, 6 cups sugar, 3 tablespoons salt, 4 1/2 teaspoons celery seed, 3/4 teaspoon turmeric, 3/4 teaspoon mustard seed.
    Add fresh dill on top and seal.
    Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
