Golden Potato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 c. commercial sour cream
1/3 c. chopped green onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 medium potatoes, cooked in jackets, peeled and coarsely shredded
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Combine cheese and
butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until cheese is
melted.
Remove from heat.
Stir in sour cream, onion, salt
and
pepper.
Add potatoes, mixing gently. Pour into a buttered
2
quart
casserole.
Dot
with 2 tablespoons butter. Bake at
350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Yield:
8 to 10 servings.
Can grate
cheese
on top or can crumble cornflakes on top of casserole.
