No Fat Angel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Have egg whites at room temperature. In a large mixer bowl, place egg whites.
    Add salt, vanilla extract and cream of tartar.
    Beat until stiff.
    Gradually add sugar, 1/4 cup at a time, until all has been added.
    Fold in flour 1/4 cup at a time.
    Pour into an ungreased 9-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Invert and cool completely.
