No-Cook Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. strawberries
    4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. Sure-Jell
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Mash strawberries; mix well with sugar.
    Let stand 10 minutes. Mix Sure-Jell with water; bring to a boil and cook 1 minute.
    Add this to strawberry mixture and mix well.
    Put in glass jars, leaving headspace.
    Let stand 24 hours, then freeze.
