Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. apples, cored and quartered
2 qt. apple cider
2 c. sugar
cinnamon to taste
Preparation

Boil apples in cider.
Stir constantly.
Cook for 3 hours until thick.
Put through sieve to filter out skin and seeds. Return to pot.
Stir while cooking another hour.
When thick enough to spread, pour into sterilized jars.
