Holiday Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    3 c. chopped pecans
    2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    5 large eggs
    2 c. cake flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Add flour and beat well.
    Add nuts and fruit to mixture.
    Stir with a spoon. Grease a cake pan.
    Pour batter in and bake at 250 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
