Chocolate Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk (whole)
    3 egg yolks
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) deep crust baked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients; gradually stir in milk.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
    Mix small amount of mixture into egg yolks, then blend into hot mixture.
    Boil 1 minute longer.
    Remove from heat; blend in margarine and vanilla.
    Pour into baked crust.
    May be topped with whipped cream when cooled.
