Lemon Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg yolks
    3/4 c. lemon juice
    rind of 1 lemon
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. Knox gelatine
    6 egg whites
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 medium angel food cake
Preparation
    Thicken egg yolks, lemon juice and sugar in top of double boiler.
    Dissolve 1 package of Knox gelatine in 1/2 cup water. Add to hot lemon mixture.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add 3/4 cup sugar to egg whites.
    Fold egg whites into warm lemon mixture. Tear angel food cake into bite-size.
    Alternate layers of lemon mixture and angel food cake in a spring mold.
    Set in refrigerator overnight.
    Ice with Cool Whip or serve with Cool Whip.
