Beans Azteca - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
    2 c. chopped, cooked pork
    1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 1/2 c. tortilla chips, crushed
    3/4 c. bottled barbecue sauce
    2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1 (8 oz.) jar American cheese spread
Preparation
    In saucepan cook onion and green pepper (use boiling water) for 5 minutes or until tender; drain.
    Combine cooked vegetable mixture, beans, corn, tortilla chips, barbecue sauce and chili powder.
    Turn 1/3 of meat mixture into ungreased 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Spread 1/2 cup cheese spread over meat.
    Repeat layers, top with remaining meat mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
    Bake covered at 375\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
