Baked Lima Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. large lima beans
    salt
    1/2 lb. sliced bacon
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
Preparation
    Cook beans.
    Cut bacon in 1/2 inch pieces.
    Saute lightly in medium skillet.
    Add onions; saute until onion is tender and bacon is browned.
    Combine in large bowl the beans, onion, bacon, tomato sauce, brown sugar, dry mustard, 1/2 teaspoon salt, oregano and 1/2 cup water.
    Blend well.
    Turn into 2 to 2 1/2 quart shallow baking dish.
    Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
    Remove cover and bake 15 minutes longer.
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
