Great Grandma'S Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. sliced cucumbers and onions
    2 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. vinegar
    4 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers and onions approximately 1 gallon.
    Mix with salt and refrigerate overnight.
    Drain in morning and rinse.
    If too salty, rinse again.
    Heat vinegar and sugar until dissolved and cool to lukewarm.
    Pour over cucumbers.
    Freeze in plastic container.
    Defrost before use.
