Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleomargarine
    4 (1 oz.) cakes unsweetened chocolate
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tall can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In medium saucepan melt butter and chocolate.
    Add sugar 1/2 cup at a time.
    Add salt in conjunction with sugar.
    Sugar should be completely moistened.
    After each addition, mixture will be thick and dry.
    Slowly stir in evaporated milk a little at a time. Add vanilla.
    May be served chilled.
